Chefs Carlos Rangel and Benjamin Watson have worked together for over seven years.
Carlos has been a mainstay in the Lubbock food scene for over two decades. After completing his culinary education at Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Chef Rangel returned to Lubbock to lead food services for the United Supermarkets Arena. He previously owned and operated the Red Carpet Restaurant, and is excited to share with you his latest creation, Platform.
Benjamin Watson brings technical excellence and passion to every dish that he creates. He serves as catering director, and routinely serves over 100 people each day before the restaurant opens for business. Benjamin is our resident BBQ expert, and specializes in Mexican and Latin American flavors.
Platform is proud to partner with Lubbock's very own Sugarista! Kimberly makes all of her delicious cookie creations in house. From Snickerdoodle to the spicy Caliente Craze, Sugarista will always leave you wanting more. You can stop in to snag some cookies from our bakery case, pick up a hot and fresh special order, or enjoy a warm cookie and ice cream after your meal.
